Sauna in Oslo

At Oslo Sauna Association by Langkaia, enjoy a steamy sauna followed by a refreshing dip in the Oslofjord.

Oslo Sauna Association was founded in 2016 by a group of anarchists and diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ ice bath club. It all started with the sauna boat Måken, built from driftwood from Bjørvika. Since then, the popularity of saunas and ice baths has skyrocketed.

Their goal is to provide Oslo residents with access to warm and welcoming saunas, whether you want to rent a private sauna for a special occasion or join a communal sauna session. The saunas are scattered around Oslo, but we recommend a short 3-minute walk from Oslo Central Station to Langkaia, right next to Amerikalinjen. Here you can experience the refreshing fjord water and truly enjoy the sauna experience.
